KANSA WAND

My studies of Ayurveda (The Science of Health and Wisdom) has led me to discover an amazing healing tool. It is made of Kansa metal in India, known in the west as bronze. It has been used for over 4000 years.

Kansa Wands are used in Ayurvedic healing techniques to help restore a youthful complexion, reduce inflammation, congestion, help detox the body, and ease (migraine) headaches and other aches and pains.

The wand is applied to the skin after some essential oils have been gently massaged into the face or feet. In a couple of seconds the wand warms up to body temperature, and could barely be felt.

It can stimulate the meridians and helps the flow of the chakra grid, helping your body to heal, relieving tension and pains, and improving the look and feel of your skin. A treatment really worth having as it has NO electrical currents to this instrument and yet can give the look of a face lift.

When used for a face massage it can give a tone and tightening to the skin which is beneficial to young and the more mature. The Kansa Wand can work on puffy eyes and can help remove fine lines and may help to relieve congestion in the sinuses.

It could remove toxins from the skin as it stimulates the lymph nodes. The lymphatic system’s main function is to cleanse toxins and protect against harmful invaders. It works by carrying our body’s waste away from the tissues and into the bloodstream, making it a key detoxification pathway.

The problem is that, unlike blood, lymph does not have a pump. It relies on the relaxation and the contraction of the muscles and joints to move it. Your lymphatic system can easily become stagnant, especially when it becomes overwhelmed with toxic debris. This not only leads to impaired immunity and disease, but the development of cellulite, edema (fluid retention), chronic pain and fatty deposits. A sluggish lymphatic flow can also be a root cause of chronic sinusitis, swollen glands, ankles and eyes, eczema, arthritis, upper respiratory, sinus and ear infections, throat problems, colds, tonsillitis, bronchitis, and pneumonia.

The good news is that a Kansa Wand treatment could help remove toxins from the body, as it stimulates the lymph nodes, giving a better circulation of the blood vessels, encouraging a deep detoxification process.
I mostly use the Kansa Wand on the feet, which helps detoxifying the organs, and balancing the body, so it could be in tune, and work efficiently.

It is comforting; enhances the effect of Reflexology; calms, cools, and relaxes the entire body; encourages the recipient to feel energized and fresh. Some people have found they sleep better after a Kansa Wand massage.

It is beneficial for smoothing the skin, relieving stress, removing toxins, and balancing the body’s energies, by creating deep relaxation.

Additional benefits of a Kansa Massage are:

  • the sensation is pleasurable and calms the whole nervous system
  • eases muscle tension
  • erases stress and tiredness in the feet or any muscle group
  • helps to make it easier to fall into deep, relaxing sleep
  • lymphatic system stimulation, detoxification
